Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapy

The lymphatic system effects every system of the body. It is linked to your well-being. It corrects and

maintains an environment in which all cells can thrive. When the lymph system is functioning properly

it effectively cleanses the tissues, aids in cellular repair and the removal of toxins. When it becomes congested,

it deprives the cells of oxygen and affects the ability of the body to rid itself of cellular wastes. Over time, other systems of the body will become compromised because the lymph system is not properly removing the wastes. This sets the stage for pain and disease. A sure sign of lymph congestion is sore and swollen lymph nodes which are most noticeable in the neck, armpits and groin. A manual lymph drainage  treatment can help.  I use a device called the ST-8  with the manual techniques. It's safe and non-invasive . It is the first oxygen-fed tissue detoxification system that uses energy to transmit pure oxygen to the body's cells. The ST-8detoxifies tissue by assisting the body in dissolving lymphatic blockages and restoring normal lymphatic flow by using quantum scalar technology coupled with supersaturated oxygen. The oxygen is transmitted to the cells that need it by photons, light energy. There are not side effects, other than feeling terrific afterwards. Common conditions that may benefit by a treatment of MLD are pain, sciatica, breast conditions, fibrocystic disease, PMS, intestinal syndromes, diabetes, arthritis, swelling, chronic edema, bursitis and other conditions involving inflammation, bruising, pre-surgery preparation and post-surgical recovery. It will prevent scar tissue from building up after cosmetic surgery.

What I can offer to you:

Zero Balancing

is a powerful body-mind therapy that uses skilled touch to address the relationship between energy and structure of the

body. A ZB session usually lasts an hour.  The practitioner uses finger pressure and gentle traction on areas of tension

in the bones, joints and soft tissue to create fulcrums, or points of balance around with which the body can relax and reorganize. It focuses primarily on key joints of our skeleton that conduct and balance the forces of gravity, posture and movement. Zero Balancing helps clear blockages in the body's energy flow, amplifies vitality and contributes to better postural alignment.

Ionic Foot Baths

If you have foot pain, you should check this out. The Renovati Cleanse IV produces negative ions in a foot bath

that pass through the pores of your feet by a process called osmosis. By creating this process, the body's toxicity

is release into a foot bath which you will definitely see. Everyone comments on how great their feet feel afterwards.  The price is $50 for the foot bath with a 15 minute reflexology  treatment  or you can add it to your body treatment for an additional charge of $35.

Cupping Therapy

uses negative pressure rather than tissue compression like certain types of massage. Cupping is a traditional time-honored

treatment that remains the favorite of millions of people worldwide because it is safe, comfortable and  a remarkably effective

tool to treat many health disorders. It is the oldest and most globally practiced medical treatment in human history. The benefits of cupping have been recorded in Egyptian hieroglyphics some 3,500 years ago. Cupping pulls stagnation out of the tissues and brings it to the skin level.  Some of the toxicity is released through the pores of the skin, then the rest is removed by the circulatory and lymphatic systems of the body. It releases muscular and fascia constrictions. It detoxifies your body and feels wonderful too.

Onsite Corporate Chair Massage

Seated chair massage is good for preventing little problems from becoming big problems. Human beings were meant to move.

When employees are immobilized by their jobs at desks or keyboards for 8-10 hours a day, eventually their bodies are going to

rebel. The reason someone wakes up with a crick in their neck isn't because he or she slept wrong, it's because of weeks or

months of accumulated psychological or physical stress that finally reaches a tipping point and causes muscles to spasm. Regular chair massage will alleviate this from happening. Chair massage reduces stress instantly. It is an enormous value to a company or business. Employees whose companies provide regular chair massage are more productive and feel more appreciated than those that don't. Today's companies consider chair massage another tool for attracting and retaining top talent. If you are an employee, talk to your employer about getting chair massage at your workplace. If you are an employer, call me for a free consultation.

Ultrasound

Ultrasound uses sound waves for treatment commonly for those with musculoskeletal issues. This includes symptoms and disorders of tendinitis,

bursitis, gout, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, low back pain and fibromyalgia. Pain commonly occurs with muscles, bones and joints. Instead of electricity used for estimulation, ultrasound stimulates tissue with sound waves. This device can be used in the areas of the shoulders, wrists, upper and lower back, hips, legs, knees and feet. It removes inflammation and increases range of motion.

Laser therapy

Low level lasers send accurately measured non-thermal photons of light to the appropriate treatment sight. These light waves supply energy to the body as they penetrate several inches beyond the skin's layers.  The laser has anti-inflammatory and immunostimulate effects.  It supplies vital oxygen and energy to every cell that needs it, therefore enables the cells to heal and repair themselves at a quicker rate.

Neuromuscular Therapy

Neuromuscular therapy is a science which uses specific techniques to bring a balance between the muscular and nervous

systems. This type of massage therapy is often referred as deep tissue massage, but neuromuscular is so much more than

a deep tissue massage. If you are in pain, it is based on one of 5 neuromuscular principles, dysfunctional biomechanics

(faulty movement patterns), postural distortion (muscles are taking on the actions of the bones), ischemia (lack of blood in tissues), trigger points (area in muscle that stays in a contracted state, causes a specific muscle or group of muscles to stay in a contracted state and may or may not refer pain to another part of the body) and nerve compression/nerve entrapment (pressure on a nerve from bone or cartilage tissue or pressure on a nerve from soft tissue).  60% of all pain in the body is caused by the soft tissues (muscles). A neuromuscular therapist has had extensive training to know which muscle or muscle groups are involved, how to treat them and how much pressure to use in order for the muscles to relax and the pain to subside. I can also use a therapeutic laser or ultrasound with this treatment to get rid of pain and inflammation.
